A Case of The Blahs | Pinkfresh Studio Blog Hop!

Hey everyone! I’m back with another Pinkfresh Studio blog hop, this time for the new collection: A Case of the Blahs.

If I had to sum up this collection it would be: perfectly imperfect! Although it’s great to scrapbook the best bits of life, it’s nice to be able to document some more ‘real life’ moments and this collection is perfect for the imperfect moments you'd like to capture!

I was inspired by all of the ‘real life’ sentiments you can find in the papers and embellishments throughout the collection and I decided to create a large title as the focus of my page. I used The Cut Shoppe’s Open Letter alpha to spell the word ‘nope’, and I backed it with one of the gorgeous pale blue patterned papers.

I used the black alpha from the collection, to spell out the first half of my title. So in full my title reads: ‘Queen of Nope’! Because some days are just ‘nope’ days, right?!

For some extra whimsy I used this Queen cut file to do some paper-piecing using the 6x6 patterned papers. I can’t get over how cute this turned out!

Remember to hop along to everyone’s blogs and leave a comment to be in with a chance to win A Case of the Blahs prize pack! Comments will close 11:59pm CST Thursday February 8th and the winner will be announced on the PFS blog Saturday February 10th. Good luck!
